You can make a difference by working to enhance the awareness of all citizens within the Region about the importance of transportation to the future of the Richmond Region. TransitTalk.com, Partnership for Smarter Growth (PSG), and Ridefinders are teaming up to encourage citizens to get smart and speak up about the need for a more connected Region with the Voices 4 Transportation Choices (V4TC) campaign. There are a variety of ways in which you can show your support for the cause.

• Become a member of TransitTalk.com and join the discussion to have your voice heard about the transportation issues that concern you.
• Attend the Broad Street Rapid Transit Study Public Meetings
See how Bus Rapid Transit can use a combination of transit services, stations, and roadway improvements to provide faster, more efficient transit service for Richmond and Henrico.
• Attend the River City Saunter
Explore the need for smarter transportation growth with citizens, elected officials and community leaders.
• Join the Move the Region initiative!
Sign up to meet with your local elected official and talk to him or her about your vision for a better neighborhood and region.
• Participate in Citizen Engagement Workshops
Learn how land use and transportation decisions are made and how to take part in the process.
• Enjoy Walk and Talk Tours
Join planning experts and local developers on guided walking tours of Richmond Region communities that are embracing their smart growth potential.
• Take part in the People Powered Bike and Pedestrian Initiative
Obtain information on the “top five” bike and pedestrian infrastructure projects in each locality.

3rd Annual River City Saunter

Mark your calendar now for PSG’s event of the year, our River City Saunter. This year, we will also feature a Roundtable with experts from the real estate, development, and architecture communities exploring obstacles to and opportunities for smarter growth in our region.
