I have always tried to do things in a sustainable manner. As a child, I would yell at my parents for not turning off the water while they brushed their teeth. I spent a lot of time in large cities over the past decade and embraced the benefits of public transportation. The only way to change the system is one person at a time. My stance on this issue is strong, because I believe if the Richmond region can embrace the public transit options available, the city can transform. Wouldn’t it be great if in 15 years we didn’t have to own a car in this city.
I spend my free time skateboarding, cycling, and on creative pursuits. I can often be found digging through crates of records in hopes of finding rare 7 inches. If anything, I hope to be an example for those who feel alienated and don’t think their opinion counts.
